METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) – Henna artist Mehwish met with us today to tell us a little about the art of Henna.  Henna originally originated from Egypt was a way for people to express themselves with art on their body before tattoos.  Henna itself is actually an organic plant dye.  If you want to visit Mehwish she’ll be at India Fest this weekend
