If you end up on Williams Blvd. in Kenner in the wee hours of the morning and need to fill a void for food or beverage, there is a place call Laketown Grill that can meet those needs around the clock. You see, at Laketown Grill the food and beverage service is 24/7. Owner Robert Lawson tells us that Laketown has filled a niche as a place where night owls of all types can drop in during those pesky hours of the day when most everyone else has closed their doors.

Laketown is basically a sports bar. They have Direct TV’s Sunday Ticket, so no matter who your team is you can catch every second of their game. And American Football isn’t the only type of football available to see at Laketown. Lawson says he has a growing demand for Soccer. He has obliged those folks by getting sports programming to bring the best soccer to the multitude of flat screens at Laketown Grill. Lawson also says that if you are a Saints or LSU fan you won’t be disappointed either. It’s not uncommon to see the place packed with folks decked out in black and gold enjoying not just Saints football but also drink specials and half-price burgers.

The eats at Laketown are a mix of your typical bar favorites like fried appetizers, burgers and wings. Laketown has great wings that come in orders of 9, 15 and 20 pieces. There are seven sauce choices for wings at Laketown including Buffalo, Tai Peanut and Garlic Parmesan. However, there are some menu items at Laketown that you might not expect at a bar. Laketown does a variety of great sandwiches, tacos and steaks. Let’s take a moment to talk about those steaks. Laketown offers an 8oz Filet and a 16oz Ribeye. Both steaks come cooked to order and include Laketown’s loaded baked potato salad. If you are looking for a little healthier option, try the Tuna steak.

Laketown says that a substantial part of their overnight business are employees from the nearby casino. Their workday ends at 4am. Lawson says that first responders on the overnight shift also swing by Laketown for overnight eats.
