NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – It’s the second year for local restaurant Dat Dog to hold a celebration for National Hot Dog Day.
The event honored hot dogs and sausages by having live music, drinks, and a hot dog dressing contest. Three of the hot dog dressers had a chance to have their hot dog creation Dat Dog’s Son of a Saint Dog.
All the proceeds from the special event went to the Son of Saints organization.
The winner of this years hot dog dressing contest was Saints player Chris Manhertz.
