NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The Preservation Resource Center is hosting its annual Holiday Home Tour in the Garden District this weekend, offering a glimpse inside beautifully restored historic homes.

Eight homes will be open to tours, with the recently restored Mathilde Bernard Villere Hall at Louise S. McGehee School for Girls also open as a bonus destination.

The annual tour offers an up close view of some of the most beautifully restored historic homes New Orleans has to offer, and each home is decked out with unique Christmas decorations to heighten the holiday mood.

Tours will be offered Saturday and Sunday, December 10 and 11, from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The event’s headquarters will be at Trinity Episcopal Church on Jackson Avenue, where a boutique and cafe will also be set up.

Tickets are $45 on the day of the tour and are available at Trinity Episcopal.
