MONCKS CORNER, S.C. (WGNO) – It’s not uncommon to hear about an alligator in a residential area, but this one was caught attempting to ring a South Carolina home’s doorbell.
This is one of those stories you have to see to believe.
A man walking his dog got quite a surprise when he spotted an alligator at the front door of the South Caroline home.
He used his cell phone to capture the scene and said he was surprised to see the reptile trying to climb a front door.
Look closely as it reaches up, then scrambles away.
The owner of the house said she’s seen alligators in the area, but she never thought one of them would walk onto her property and try to enter her home.
