Saints punter Morstead helping Ochsner care for kids

New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead, center, in red shirt, announced today his What You Give Will Grow foundation is throwing its support behind Ochsner Hospital for Children.

NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)–New Orleans Saints punter Thomas Morstead announced today that his What You Give Will Grow foundation is teaming up with the Triumph Over Kid Cancer foundation to help Ochsner Hospital for Children care for kids in need.

Morstead also announced What You Give Will Grow will donate $15,000 to Oschner’s Child Life services department.

The charities announced a pair of fundraisers to help the effort:

Saturday, October 8, at 7:00 p.m., the organizations will premiere “Until 20,” a movie about Triumph Over Kid Cancer foundation’s late co-founder, James Ragan, who died at age 20.  The film will be shown at Tulane University’s McAlister Auditorium.

Sunday, October 9, at 5:00 p.m., Triumph Over Kid Cancer will host its 7th Annual New Orleans Big Easy Fundraiser at the Arbor Room at Popp Fountain at City Park.
