(WGNO) – A new report issued by Inspector General Ed Quatrevaux says the Orleans Parish Coroner’s Office isn’t compensating their workers properly.

The Office of Inspector General’s report is actually a follow-up to the report they issued in March, 2013.

The new report found that the Coroner’s office only implemented two out of the nine changes recommended in their March report.

This report found the office was still violating multiple laws, including:

  • Unauthorized payments to employees and contractors
  • Tax documents weren’t issued to employees
  • Workers were paid without documenting it
  • Payments to contractors weren’t documented
