Chef Nino Cooks Porterhouse Steak with Cabernet Mushroom Sauce

BAYOU BOYS PORTERHOUSE STEAK WITH CABERNET MUSHROOM SAUCE

INGREDIENTS:

1 Bayou Boy Porterhouse Steak (or your favorite cut!)

Kosher Salt

Cracked black pepper

1 cup oyster mushrooms (or your favorite variety)

4 tablespoons butter divided

1 cup your favorite dark red wine

INSTRUCTIONS:

Salt and Pepper both sides of steak. On a flat iron skillet sear both sides of steak until desired doneness is achieved.

In a small sauce pan add 2 tablespoons butter and mushrooms. Sautee for 5-6 minutes and add wine. Cook until liquid reduces by ½. Remove from heat and add another 2 tablespoons butter. Let the butter melt slowly while stirring. Pour wine reduction sauce over steak.
