NEW ORLEANS — It may be summertime but Christmasfest was in full swing on Thursday as elves gathered to spread joy. Dozens of meals were packaged by volunteers at Second Harvest Food Bank to be delivered to the Boys and Girls Club of Gretna by Santa himself.
