Kylee Bond

Born and raised in Southwest Missouri, Kylee Bond got her start in journalism while in college at Missouri Southern State University. While working toward her degree, she worked at WGNO’s sister stations, KODE/KSN in Joplin as a Digital Producer, Digital Reporter, and News Production Assistant.

Her coverage as a reporter in Joplin included the City of Joplin’s COVID-19 response, a high-profile city council race in Spring of 2020, and multiple city council meetings across the Four State Area.

After completing her Bachelor’s Degree in International & Political Affairs, two minors in Mass Communication and Public Relations, and the university’s first-ever Political Communication certificate, Kylee joined our team at WGNO as a Digital Content Producer in June of 2021. Her coverage since in New Olreans has included:

  • Hurricane Ida landfall and recovery
  • New Orleans breaking news crime stories
  • Mardi Gras’ comeback year after the COVID-19 outbreak
  • The March 22, 2022, New Orleans tornadoes

When she’s not working, Kylee enjoys reading, playing volleyball and rollerskating, cooking, watching Tiktoks, and exploring the Big Easy.
