NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — The New Orleans Police Department began investigating multiple shootings early Sunday morning.

Police responded to a shooting scene in the 1600 block of Iberville Street around 4:40 a.m.

Initial reports show four victims were shot and injured from the incident and they were all transported to the hospital.

Three of the victims were male teenagers, one was a 15-year-old and the two others were 16-year-olds. The fourth victim was an older adult.

The 15-year-old boy was pronounced dead after arriving at the hospital.

As of 10 a.m. on Sunday, the three other victims involved were in stable condition according to NOPD.
