NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)— Looking for a job? Look no further. With the lockdown nearing its end and the mask mandates mostly lifted, several big companies are hosting hiring events and job fairs, hoping to find some much-needed help.

Job fairs planned for Gretna and Marrero

  • GRETNA — Tuesday, July, 19 from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.
    • Located at Terrytown-Gretna Head Start Center (2315 Park Place, Gretna, LA)
  • MARRERO — Tuesday, August 2
    • Located at Lapalco Head Start Center (2001 Lincolnshire Drive, Marrero, LA)
  • Visitors can speak to Head Start reps and learn about current jobs and the application process
