NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Friday morning, Troy Carter was sworn in as Congressman in a community ceremony at Edna Karr High School.
State and city representatives spoke to acknowledge and congratulate former Louisiana State Senator on his rise to Congress through testimonies.
Later in the day, the Congressman will host a reception to help him retire old campaign debt.
