NEW ORLEANS — Local activists protested outside City Hall on Friday to draw attention to bills in the state legislature that would restrict transgender rights.
Three anti- transgender bills have failed in the state legislature.
Gov. John Bel Edwards says he opposes a current bill, and will veto it if it passes.
