NEW ORLEANS, La. (WGNO)- Early voting continues this week in Louisiana for the Presidential primary and local primaries, with new safety guidelines.

Voters can cast their early ballots by mail or in person. If you head out to the polls, you have to stay six feet apart, put your ID in a plastic bag, wear a mask, and sanitize your hands.

Anyone over the age of 65 is allowed to vote absentee. Others who want to vote absentee should go the Secretary of State’s Office to see the requirements.
