When friends come to New Orleans, the first place I take them is the Carousel Bar in the Hotel Monteleone. The atmosphere is romantic, the scenery is beautiful and the idea is so unique… the perfect combination of everything New Orleans!
If I had the time, I would learn to speak French fluently. I still remember a few words and phrases from High School but not very much and I’d like to pass as a local overseas. I guess for now “laissez les bon temps roulez” will have to suffice.
On Friday and Saturday nights, you will find me laughing with friends.
My greatest TV moment to date was interviewing Erin Andrews in Tampa before the Outback Bowl. It was soon after her run on Dancing with the Stars and she was really kind and funny.
The most important lesson I’ve learned working as a journalist is: always listen. And charge your camera battery. And get a contact number. And expect the unexpected. The best part of my job is learning something new every day and all of the lessons are important.
