NEW ORLEANS – Day one of the Voodoo Music + Arts Experience was a complete success, despite the dreary, wet weather.

On Friday, the fest opened at noon, and the weather just wasn’t going to cooperate.

The rain came down the entire day, but festival goers didn’t let that stop the party.

More than 30 artists performed across five stages, including Guns N’ Roses, Bishop Briggs, Moon Taxi, Interpol, SNAILS, Peekaboo, Templo, DJ Nice Rack, Dr. Fresch, Ducky (DJ Set), Big Gigantic, CRAY, MEMBA, Michigander, Hobo Johnson & The Lovemakers, Still Woozy,  Liily, grandson, Des Rocs, Brandi Carlile, Magic City Hippies, Ryan Hall, Slugger, DJ Matt Scott and Music Forward Showcase: Blue Crab Redemption.

If you missed Friday, that’s okay, because Voodoo is here for two more days, and tickets are still available!
