NEW ORLEANS – Captain Mickey Mouse will soon begin setting sail from the Port of New Orleans.
Disney announced today that the Disney Cruise Line will begin docking in New Orleans in 2020.
The cruises will sail to destinations in the Caribbean and the Bahamas, according to Disney.
Tickets for the cruises will be open for booking starting October 4.
The cruise ship sailing from New Orleans will be called the “Wonder.” Aboard the ship will be a restaurant called, “Tiana’s Place” based on the restaurant that Princess Tiana envisioned in the hit Disney movie, “The Princess & The Frog.” This celebration of New Orleans dining and entertainment will be exclusive to this ship.
