Thursday afternoon, Governor Bobby Jindal’s office announced he signed into law legislation that creates lifetime conceal carry permits in Louisiana.
Whoever gets one of the permits must complete the same training as a standard CCP.
While the permit will never need to be renewed, the holder of a lifetime CCP must have a firearms training course every five years and submit proof of completion to the state.
