NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Early voting for the December 10th runoff elections ends this Saturday.

The early voting period, which began on November 26 and ends on December 3, will cover six elections statewide, including the highly publicized runoff between John Kennedy and Foster Campbell.

Kennedy and Campbell are running for the Senate seat that will soon be vacated by outgoing Senator David Vitter.

Also on the ballot December 10, Scott A. Angelle faces off against Clay Higgins for U.S. Representative for the 3rd Congressional District, and “Mike” Johnson faces Marshall Jones for the 4th Congressional District.

Three runoff for judges will also be decided on December 10. “Steve” Dean will face off against Clay Hamilton for District Judge in the 5th Judicial District Court, Division C, while Nghana Lewis Gauff and “Jeff” Perilloux will vie for District Judge for the 40th Judicial District Court, Division B.

Paul A. Bonin and Kevin Guillory will also face off against each other in the runoff for Judge in Criminal District Court Section D.

Early voting numbers for the recent presidential election set record numbers as hundreds of thousands of Louisiana residents flocked to the polls to cast early votes.
