LAPLACE, LA (WGNO) – It’s in the history books now. And in the cookbooks.
It’s the 2016 St. John the Baptist Parish Andouille Festival.
Thousands of people came out to LaPlace to eat, eat, eat.
WGNO News with a Twist features guy Wild Bill Wood says they also came to spin, spin spin.
Around and around they went.
The merry-go-round was one of more than twenty rides at Andouille Festival.
Of course the focus of the festival which has been spinning now for 42 years, is the food. The andouille. It’s the sausage honored from one end of the fun to the other.
