NEW ORLEANS – The NOPD needs the public’s help in locating and identifying two suspects responsible for an armed robbery in the 3100 block of Gentilly Boulevard. The incident happened on Tuesday(Aug 30).
At around 12:15 p.m., two unknown males were seen on surveillance video entering the Rite Aid in the area. One of the individuals, who was wearing a white T-shirt, was seen jumping over the counter and grabbing alcohol bottles and cigarettes.
When the cashier saw the suspects and called them out, the other suspect, who was wearing a red shirt, said he had a gun in a book bag and placed his hands in the bag as if he was reaching for a weapon. Once the cashier backed away, the two suspects took off into a black Saturn with an unknown license plate.
