NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – NOPD has named a suspect in the Memorial Day double shooting that left two men dead in the Broadmoor neighborhood.

Winston Jackson, 19, is wanted in connection with the fatal in the 3300 block of General Taylor Street.

Officers responded about midday May 30 to General Taylor Street, where they found one victim lying on his back on the front porch of a house and a second victim lying on the floor inside the home.

The victims,  Faisal Puckett Jr. and Charles Banister, were pronounced dead at the scene.

Jackson’s last known address on Caton Street New Orleans. Jackson is also known to frequent the Marrero Commons Housing Complex, formerly known as the B.W. Cooper Housing Complex, as well as Louisiana Avenue Parkway.
