BATON ROUGE (WGNO — –  It’s hardly Hollywood. But in the glitz and glamor of a Baton Rouge garage, they’re making a movie. And one of the stars of the show is somebody nobody has seen much of since the ’70s.

You’ll recognize Ruth Buzzi. She’s the comedian from “Rowan & Martin’s Laugh-In,” one of the biggest TV shows back in the 70s.

Ruth was the lady who always hit everybody with her purse. That character’s name was Gladys Ormphby.

Ruth won a Golden Globe and got five Emmy nominations for her work on “Laugh-In.”

WGNO News with a Twist features guy Wild Bill Wood travels to Baton Rouge to see if there’s any Gladys left in Ruth Buzzi.

The movie she’s shooting is called “One Month Out.”

You’ll know the guy who wrote the script.  He’s also in the film.  He also owns a movie studio in Holden, Louisiana.

He’s actor John Schneider, Bo Duke from TV’s “Dukes of Hazzard.”

Also in the movie is Laura Cayouette.  She’s a New Orleans actress. You’ll know her from “Django Unchained.”  She’s in that movie as the sister of Leonardo DiCaprio.

Quite a cast! Watch Wild Bill’s story to see what the movie’s about.
