NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Police have named the driver who crashed a luxury sports car last week, killing his passenger.
The NOPD says Jason Adams was behind the wheel of the 2015 Lamborghini when the crash happened May 4th, just before midnight.
The sports car hit the flood wall at the sharp turn on Tchoupitoulas near Felicity Street in the Lower Garden District.
Adams’ passenger, 23-year-old Kristi Lirette, died at the scene.
No charges have been filed against Adams. However, police say they are still investigating and awaiting toxicology test results.
