CONVENT, La. (WGNO) – We are getting our first daylight look at the devastated remains of the Sugar Hill RV Park in Convent, La.

Authorities say 2 people were killed and 30 people were injured when, what is believed to have been, a tornado touched down near the RV Park around 3:30 Tuesday afternoon.

Estimates are that at least 100 RVs were damaged or destroyed in the incident.

Wednesday morning, Governor John Bel Edwards toured the area.
