BATON ROUGE, La. (WGNO) – LSU introduced new defensive coordinator Dave Aranda Tuesday morning. Aranda’s 2015 Wisconsin defense led the FBS in fewest points allowed in the regular season, 13.1.

Here’s what Aranda said about his defensive philosophy.

Aranda has already impressed one LSU signee. John Ehret linebacker Michael Divinity signed with LSU Tuesday morning. He will enroll in class later this month.

Head coach Les Miles said he hopes the arrival of Aranda will help convince cornerback Tre’Davious White and linebacker Kendall Beckwith to spurn the NFL and return to LSU for the 2016 season.
