New Orleans (WGNO)– Some special kids were treated to a great surprise Tuesday afternoon.

The New Orleans Saints spread some holiday cheer delivering gifts to cancer and transplant patients at Ochsner Medical Center.

Players handed out toys and posed for pictures.

Saints punter Thomas Morstead said, “It’s nice to do things for people at this time, especially a lot people look forward to being with family and being at home and being cozy. These kids are stuck in the hospital for varying reasons. It’s just nice to come in and put a smile on their face.”

Gifts were donated by Thomas Morstead’s “What You Give Will Grow” Foundation and Copeland Family of Restaurants.
