NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – It’s the most wonderful time of the year. And for Santa, it’s the busiest time of the year. The jolly old elf is about to fly around the world. Imagine that pressure.
Before he leaves the North Pole, he’s got a mailbox full of letters. At Clearview Mall in Metairie, the letters are arriving by the bag full. And many of them come hand delivered by kids who come in to see Santa.
WGNO News with a Twist features reporter Wild Bill Wood wonders what happens to all those letters. So watch as Wild Bill asks Santa himself.
If you’d like to see Santa at Clearview Mall, here are his holiday hours:
Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Sundays from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Then his last appearance on Thursday, December 24, Christmas Eve, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
The last weekend before Christmas, Santa will not be alone on his big seat at center court. He’ll be there with a few of his reindeer.
You’ll get the chance to see Dancer or Prancer.
Maybe Comet or Cupid? Perhaps Donner or Blitzen.
You never know. Rudolph, himself might just show up just in time for a holiday appearance at Clearview Mall.
