A statement from John Bel Edwards about the film industry

“I’ll be focused on maintaining the film tax credit as a tool to attract and retain film projects in Louisiana. I have worked with the industry on a plan to responsibly cap the credit, and many other credits, in a front end structure that will ensure we don’t discourage business from coming to Louisiana. Getting this right is vitally important to our economy and to the bright future that is ahead of us.” – John Bel Edwards.
