NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — A man and teenager are dead following a shooting in the 9th Ward Thursday (April 20th).

The shooting happened at the intersection of North Claiborne Avenue and Tupelo Street around 8:25 p.m. At the scene, police say they located two males suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.

One victim, a unidentified man, was found dead on the scene and the other a teenager was taken to a nearby hospital where he later died.

There has not been any word yet on a possible suspect and motive. Both victim’s identities have not been released at this time.

The homicide remains under investigation.
