NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The guy’s at Van’s showed us their signature snoball the “Tulane Green Wave.” It’s Sour Apple and Polar Punch. Not only does it show off school pride but it also taste really great.

Van worked at his parents stand at the age of 11 and now has two of his own stands.  He says people think the snoball business is easy, but he showed us the whole process. You have to buy the ice, buy the sugar, make the syrup before you even get to the side of snoball making that the public sees.

Despite the work, Van says the industry allows him independence and it is quite fun.
