NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Tuesday evening, the NOPD began investigating a domestic dispute between a man and woman just before 6 p.m. in the Treme area.
Officers responded to the location where the call was reported and say a man barricaded himself inside a home in the 1900 block of Bayou Road. He refused to leave his home or speak to officers.
A few hours later, around 7:40 p.m., the NOPD SWAT team entered the residence and the man surrendered and was arrested.
The NOPD reports that no one was injured in the incident.
