NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A new video released by the New Orleans Police Department shows the two men wanted in connection with an armed robbery earlier this week at Buffa’s Bar and Restaurant.
Police say two men walked into Buffa’s around 9:45 p.m. Monday January 5, armed with guns. One man forced an employee behind the bar and demanded money from the register while the other man stole the wallet of a 49-year-old patron.
After the victim complied the suspects fled on foot up Burgundy Street toward Kerlerec Street.
Suspect #1 was described as a black male, approximately 5’7” tall, and having a dark complexion with dreadlocks. He was wearing a red shirt with a dark hooded sweatshirt underneath.
Suspect #2 was described as a black male, approximately 5’9” tall, thin build, approximately 140 to 150 pounds, and having a dark complexion. He was wearing a black top, a black knit cap, a black bandana covering his face below his eyes, and was armed with a black semi-automatic handgun with an extended magazine.
