NEW ORLEANS, La. (WGNO) – Hollywood superstar turned hero Sandra Bullock reportedly helped rescue a movie extra suffering from heat stroke.

The incident happened Sunday while the “Our Brand is Crisis” cast was filming in New Orleans wearing heavy winter clothing, according to TMZ. Sunday’s high was 81 degrees.

Witnesses said a female extra collapsed during a shoot and Bullock rushed in, giving the woman water and fanning her in a shady place until EMTs arrived.
