NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — On Wednesday, the New Orleans Regional Transit Authority announced ferry services will be suspended on Thursday.

On Thursday, April 28 beginning at 8:00 a.m., the Lower Algiers – Chalmette route will be inspected by the U.S Coast Guard.

According to RTA, the ferry service will resume once the inspection has been finished.
