NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)— The New Orleans Police Department began investigating a shooting near the Lower Garden District Tuesday afternoon.
According to the New Orleans Police Departments Twitter page, the shooting happened in the 700 block of St. Mary Street.
Police said a male victim suffered from gunshot injuries.
The victim was taken to the hospital by EMS.
