NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – For the second time in two days, NOPD officers have come under fire.
Officers attempted to stop a vehicle near the intersection of Annette and Law Streets this afternoon.
The occupants jumped out of the car and opened fire at the officers, according to NOPD spokesman Tyler Gamble.
No officers were hurt in the incident, and the NOPD has set up a perimeter in the area to try to catch the suspects.
