NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – A man shot and killed this afternoon in the Lower Ninth Ward was abducted shortly before his death, according to the New Orleans Police Department.
The unidentified male was found near the intersection of Florida and Charbonnet Streets around noon, according to an NOPD press release.
The victim’s relatives told officers he had been abducted by someone driving a dark compact car that was spotted driving erratically along Florida shortly before the body was dumped.
