NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Jarrius “Little JJ” Robertson may be small in stature, but he’s making an over-sized impact on New Orleans Saints fans everywhere.
Now you can even wear one of his signature taunts on a new line of shirts that proclaim “Don’t dance in my endzone.”
The 14-year-old superfan issued the dancing ban to a Carolina Panthers player during the Saints’ Week 6 win in the Superdome.
The t-shirts, which are available on the New Orleans based website wearedat.com, sell for $20, and all proceeds go to Jarrius and his family.
Jarrius suffers from a rare liver disease that has stunted his growth, but has had zero effect on his personality, as Megan Kluth recently found out when she tagged along as Jarrius took over the Dome during the Panthers game.
“There are a lot of days that he’s not feeling well but he still fights. As his father, and for his mother, he never lets us know when he’s down,” Jarrius’s father, Jordy Robertson, told Kluth on the sidelines. “We never see a dull moment until we ask.”
Jarrius is now officially a member of the Saints organization, to top off his incredible story, after head coach Sean Payton offered him a contract live on the air on Good Morning America.
“You don’t have to tell me twice!” Jarrius proclaimed when prompted to sign Payton’s contract.
He may not be making any on-field tackles, but “Little JJ” is knocking everyone away.
Just don’t dance in his endzone, unless you’re a New Orleans Saint, of course.
