NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – Uber users in New Orleans will be able to schedule rides within the next few weeks.
According to Uber, scheduled rides was the top requested feature from riders, especially for early morning trips to the airport.
“When you’ve got somewhere to be at a very specific time, it’s nice to have extra assurance that a ride will be available when you need it,” Uber said in a press release.
Business profile and Uber Business users will have first dibs on the new scheduled ride feature. The feature will be rolling out to all riders in New Orleans within the next few weeks.
You can schedule rides from 15 minutes in advance to 30 days in advance.
