METAIRIE, La. (WGNO) – The Victory Fellowship church is helping the needy this Fourth of July. Thousands came out to Monday’s Feed the Multitudes event.

Attendants were jamming out to live music and eating jambalaya, barbecue chicken, hot dogs, watermelon, snowballs and dessert!

Volunteers also gave the needy free hair cuts, manicures and shoes.

This event has been held for 27 years.
