NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) – The national touring company of the award-winning play “The Book of Mormon” will start a one-week run at the Saenger Theatre on March 8th, and you could get a chance to buy tickets at just $25 a piece.

The Production will conduct a pre-show lottery at the box office, making a limited number of tickets available at $25 apiece.

The wildly popular lottery for the Broadway production has attracted as many as 800 entries at some performances.

Entries will be accepted, cash only, at the box office beginning two and a half hours prior to each performance; each person will print their name and number of tickets (2 max.) that they wish to buy on a provided card.

Two hours before curtain, names will be drawn at random for a limited number of tickets priced at $25 each.

The Book of Mormon is the winner of nine Tony Awards, including best musical score.
