(WGNO) – In the wake of Governor Bobby Jindal’s “religious freedom” executive order, New York Assemblyman Daniel O’Donnell has asked New York Governor Andrew Cuomo to ban all non-essential state-funded travel to Louisiana.

Governor Coumo issued a similar ban when Indiana passed its own “religious freedom” bill.

O’Donnell says the executive order discriminates against the LGBT community.

Neither governor has commented on O’Donnell’s request.
