NEW ORLEANS (WGNO)-  Jazz Fest organizers announced the lineup today for the 2015 New Orleans Jazz and Heritage Festival.

Some of the major acts coming to the Fair Grounds are:  Elton John, The Who, Jimmy Buffett and the Coral Reefer Band, Tony Bennett & Lady Gaga, No Doubt, Keith Urban, Pitbull, John Legend, Ed Sheeran, Ryan Adams, T.I., Chicago, Trombone Short and Orleans Avenue, Aaron Neville, Allen Toussaint, Irma Thomas, Big Freedia, Estelle, Ryan Adams, Steve Winwood, Wilco, and Jerry Lee Lewis.

Some of the great local acts you can expect to see are:  The Meters, Jeremy Davenport, George Porter Jr., Kermit Ruffins and the Barbecue Swingers, Anders Osborne, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Irvin Mayfield and the New Orleans Jazz Orchestra, Royal Teeth, Jon Cleary and the Absolute Monster Gentlemen, Cowboy Mouth, Big Sam’s Funky Nation, Galactic, Ellis Marsalis, The Soul Rebels, and many more.

Jazz Fest runs two consecutive weekends starting on Friday, April 24th through Sunday, April 26th.  Then the fun continues the following weekend on Thursday, April 30th through Sunday, May 3rd at the Fair Grounds.

Tickets go on sale starting at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, January 13th through Ticketmaster.

Advanced single-day tickets for Jazz Fest are $58.  The gate price ticket will be $70.
