Domino’s Pizza is upping the reward for whoever can help find the killer who targeted a delivery driver.

“He just delivered the pizza. Heard some hollering and then bang, bang, bang,” says neighbor Jonathon Jameson. “This guy unloaded a magazine into him. The driver was already dead and he was still shooting at him.”

35 year old Driver Richard Yeager was ambushed and killed Sunday night at the 2800 Block of St. Louis St.

“The people inside were about to take a bite into the pizza and then they heard it all,” says Jameson. That pizza didn’t get eaten.”

The suspect who drove off with Yeager’s 2004 black Toyota Corolla remains at large.

The car has a Louisiana license plate: VUH 283.

With few clues and no eyewitnesses, Dominoes is now helping police put their driver’s killer behind bars.

RPM who franchises the mid-city location says the company is adding $7,500 dollars to the reward money.

Combined with Crimestopper’s $2500, the reward now stands at $10,000.

“It’s a horrible, horrible tragedy,” says RPM’s Vice President Robert Tedesco, “A random act of violence. It was a carjacking.”

Tedesco says the Mid-city location will stay open as a symbol of strength and also raise money for unexpected expenses, “We are donating half our sales this week to his family. We are also offering professional counselors to help our team.”

“He was good person out there trying to make a living,” says Tedesco. “Trying to make ends meet. Always smiling. He will be missed.”

“I’m really impressed with Dominos,” says Jameson. They’ve been over here three or four times. All last night. They flew in someone from their corporate headquarters in Ann Arbor, Michigan.”

The New Orleans police are asking for the public’s help tracking down the gunman.
